Because we can use this specifically for our motivation and idea generation in software development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This also means:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>&ldquo;What stands in the way becomes the way.&rdquo;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">When we face a challenge, we are challenged to rise to it and find a good solution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Such a mindset with a strong inner attitude will inevitably lead you to think differently, behave creatively, and think prototypically.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Your challenge becomes an impulse generator.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Of course, you always have the potential to solve such challenges technically.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Get creative and expand your skills!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Creativity is an important aspect for our software skills, our communication and in teamwork.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In prototyping, we use feedback and validate our ideas based on real experiences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Creativity is a process that challenges and trains our attention and perception.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mindfulness, intuition and impartiality positively influence our creativity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">I started this podcast because it allows me to freely express my creativity. The framework serves as a basis or blueprint on which to build when developing software applications.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">framework<\/a> conditions<\/strong>. Strictly speaking these are <strong>functional and non-functional requirements<\/strong>, that constantly challenge us in <strong>software development<\/strong>. This is exactly what characterizes our not everyday job and I find it exciting and appealing at the same time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In the <strong>digitization<\/strong> and <strong>digital transformation<\/strong> we are often limited by entrenched approaches to solutions and traditional methods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This is not only true for waterfall-like project methods, but especially for inflexible ways of thinking.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_we_effectively_use_graphical_representation_for_software_architecture_and_for_software_development\"><\/span>How we effectively use graphical representation for software architecture and for software development<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">As an IT architect, for example, I use <strong>graphical representation<\/strong> specifically to get as many stakeholders as possible on board with initial ideas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Why? Because simple representations &ndash; even of complex, technical issues optimally<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">  <\/span>are suitable for finding the best possible solution in a team and even more so across teams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">An idea sketch can be quickly transformed into an initial technical architectural design.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Then it is also easy to extend this step by step, i.e. iteratively<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>We refine the level of detail with each iteration and validate again<\/strong> and again that our solution covers all current requirements and is correct.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5\"><h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Creative_software_development_tools_for_agile_collaboration_in_cross-functional_teams\"><\/span>Creative software development tools for agile collaboration in cross-functional teams<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">For this, I use <strong>tools<\/strong>, that are<strong>mostly freely available<\/strong> and thus anyone can use them. This is especially important because only then can others contribute their feedback, creativity and knowledge easily and independently. Two of these tools that I like to combine are <a href=\"Draw.io\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Draw.io<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/rock-the-prototype\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>GitHub<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Draw.io is an easy to use free accessible tool that anyone can use to visualize ideas up to mapping complex architectural graphics. With Draw.io we can quickly and easily create diagrams, flowcharts, mind maps and much more to organize and visualize our ideas. You can also use this tool to excellently illustrate the software architecture and the interaction of components and technologies.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Importance_of_Collaboration_Tool_for_Software_Development\"><\/span>Importance of Collaboration Tool for Software Development<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rock-the-prototype.com\/en\/software-development\/github\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"What is GitHub? GitHub is a cloud-based platform for versioning software based on Git versioning. GitHub online repositories are very popular and therefore widely used. GitHub is a version control system\" class=\"encyclopedia\">GitHub<\/a> is a <strong>valuable collaboration tool<\/strong>, that helps us work together on <strong>software projects<\/strong> and share ideas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On the GitHub platform, we can create a common <a href=\"https:\/\/rock-the-prototype.com\/programmieren-lernen\/github\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>repository<\/strong><\/a> where we can share our ideas and contributions. This enables seamless collaboration and promotes an open and transparent work environment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Very often GitHub is still reduced to the versioning of code and as an exclusive tool of software developers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-6\"><p class=\"p1\">This largely ignores the potential of cross-functional teams, i.e., the collaboration of a wide variety of stakeholders, including those with less pronounced technical roles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">By combining Draw.io and GitHub, we can visualize our ideas, work on them together, and share feedback to constantly improve our ideas and concepts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This is an important step in our <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">creative process in software development<\/span>and enables us to effectively put our ideas into practice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In the show notes you will find the links to these valuable <strong>software development tools<\/strong>.
