Many projects fail because requirements are not clearly formulated or systematically validated. The validation of data is therefore part of the software development process as well as during software operation, i.e. during the actual use of software programs.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">validation<\/a> of requirements is not just a technical detail, but a decisive lever for advancing digitalization. Every unclear requirements document, every invalid decision leads to delays and additional costs. With a clear and structured process, we create efficiency, reduce frictional losses and increase security.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Practical implementation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Use Git to save requirements directly as audit-proof artifacts.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate acceptance criteria that can be validated together in real time.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce communication losses through transparent processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Trusted_digital_infrastructures_and_the_relevance_of_confidential_cloud_computing\"><\/span>Trusted digital infrastructures and the relevance of confidential cloud computing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The importance of trustworthy digital infrastructures is constantly increasing, especially in the context of sensitive data processing. Confidential <a href=\"https:\/\/rock-the-prototype.com\/en\/cloud-computing-cloud-technology\/cloud\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"What is cloud? Cloud or cloud computing moves data and programs from desktop PCs or servers in a company to remote cloud servers. Cloud storage therefore consists of a standard server network in a cloud data center or distributed across several cloud server locations.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">cloud<\/a> computing plays a central role in this by protecting data during processing and ensuring that it is only accessible to authorized processes. <\/p>\n<p>This approach enables:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Maximum security:<\/strong> data is encrypted, even during processing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transparency:<\/strong> Access and use of data are traceable at all times.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compliance:<\/strong> Meeting strict data protection requirements, especially in regulated industries such as healthcare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By combining clear requirements, audit-proof standards and technologies such as confidential cloud computing, we create a foundation for sustainable trust and robust digital ecosystems. In addition, type 2 certificates in accordance with the <a href=\"\" target=\"\" rel=\"\">C5 equivalence regulation<\/a> are a crucial step in ensuring long-term reliability.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember713\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The regulation is aimed at cloud providers and IT service providers who process sensitive health data or provide services for this infrastructure.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember714\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_are_type_1_and_type_2_certificates\"><\/span><strong>What are type 1 and type 2 certificates?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Type-1<\/strong>: Evaluates the documentation and appropriateness of security measures (snapshot).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Type-2<\/strong>: Evaluates their long-term effectiveness over a defined period of time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"ember716\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Who_tests_and_certifies\"><\/span><strong>Who tests and certifies?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Independent inspection bodies and auditors certified by gematik conduct audits based on established criteria catalogs (e.g. C5, ISO 27001, <a class=\"PVVHCCBevdEmHKyAIeyIvuDqupzgfdjtlk \" href=\"\" target=\"\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">Cloud Controls Matrix<\/a>). The auditors check whether the requirements of these catalogs are met and prepare an audit report. If the assessment is positive, the certificate is issued.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"ember718\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_is_this_important\"><\/span><strong>Why is this important?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Type 2 certificates are essential for sensitive data as they guarantee long-term reliability. The regulation relies on a graduated process that gives companies time to migrate to the C5 standard. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember720\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The regulation aims to ensure that IT systems in the healthcare sector &ndash; especially cloud services &ndash; have a comparable level of security. While type 1 certificates cover basic requirements, long-term reliability (type 2) is essential for sensitive data. The question is whether the regulation misses the practical security requirements by focusing too much on type 1 audits.  <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember721\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conversion_to_Zero_Trust_and_Healthcare_Confidential_Computing\"><\/span>Conversion to Zero Trust and Healthcare Confidential Computing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember722\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">In addition, the downstream conversion to <strong>zero trust concepts<\/strong> and <strong>healthcare confidential computing<\/strong> as well as the reintroduction of fine-grained authorizations will significantly strengthen trust in the digital healthcare infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember723\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Zero Trust concepts are based on continuous validation of access rights and data integrity, even in cloud-based environments.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember724\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">These approaches aim to ensure trust not through infrastructure requirements, but through clear and continuous validation of access rights and data integrity. They ensure that highly sensitive healthcare data remains protected even in an increasingly distributed and cloud-based environment. <\/p>\n<p id=\"ember725\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Only the combination of these approaches with clear requirements and audit-proof tools such as Git within the chain of trust from the specification of requirements, their validation and auditing creates a reliable basis for transparency and security &ndash; an urgent necessity for sustainable investments and processes.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ember726\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stakeholders_in_focus_and_drivers_of_this_digital_trust_chain\"><\/span><strong>Stakeholders in focus and drivers of this digital trust chain<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p id=\"ember727\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">All software manufacturers, cloud and IT providers in healthcare confidential computing, the National Agency for Digital Medicine &ndash; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gematik.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gematik<\/a> GmbH, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsi.bund.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Office for Information Security<\/a> (BSI), the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bfdi.bund.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Commissioner for Data Protection<\/a> (BfDI) and, last but not least, all payers and ultimately all of us in the role of taxpaying citizens.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember728\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Combining these approaches with clear, validatable requirements and audit-proof tools such as Git will make it possible not only to achieve security standards, but to maintain them continuously.
